Corey White

With a unique background in both content creation and business technology, Corey is focused on helping TriCorps’ clients maximize technology within their organizations. He has a passion and proven record in digital storytelling. “I love telling stories,” says Corey. “When you can connect with an individual or a business on an emotional level, you create something really special.”

A former multimedia journalist, Corey spent nearly a half decade as a sports anchor, reporter, and producer at KTWO-TV, the ABC affiliate for much of the state of Wyoming. For two of those years, he ran the station’s sports department. He was recognized by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters for both his anchoring and photography skills. “In a small market television station, you get to do it all. It’s extremely exciting, but also demanding. You learn a lot,” says Corey of his time in Wyoming. While anchoring and reporting, Corey also helped produce the University of Wyoming coaches shows as well as hosted his own weekly half hour television show devoted to local sports. He developed an eye for what works and what doesn’t. “A lot of trying, and a lot of failing, but when someone comes up to you and tells you that they appreciate what you do, it really makes all of it worth it.”

Corey also helped develop the eCommerce department of a retail superstore in central Texas. He worked closely with vendors becoming a critical representative for the store in interactions. “It’s really important, the development of those relationships. A lot of vendors are concerned more with their own interests than that of their clients. Therefore, you need someone who is devoted to promoting your interests.” Corey discovered, first hand, the challenges that leaders face during major software implementation. “So many times I felt like I was running directly into a powerful headwind,” says Corey. “But you learn to take it step by step and try and grow everyday, moving the organization forward.”

Raised in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, Corey graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS is Broadcast Journalism. He has found working at TriCorps Technologies has been both challenging and rewarding. “You’re constantly learning. Working around such extraordinary people and with such impressive clients, you definitely need to stay on your toes. But when you get so wrapped up in your work that you look at the clock and can’t believe it’s already time to go home, I suppose that is a pretty good indication that you love what you do.”
